Rachael Ross, MPH
Rachael is a PhD student in Epidemiology at UNC-Chapel Hill. Her research has included pharmacoepidemiology studies in children and older adults. Her dissertation research will focus on using observational data to estimate the impact of potential interventions to prevent preterm birth in Lusaka, Zambia. Prior to UNC, Rachael worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where her research focused on pediatric antimicrobial stewardship and infection control. She has an MPH in Epidemiology and Global Health from Emory University. At NoviSci, Rachael is gaining experience in pharmacoepidemiologic studies, the programming language R, and data visualization.
In her free time, Rachael enjoys walking in the woods with her dog and her partner, and gardening.
