Bethany is a PhD candidate in Epidemiology at UNC Chapel Hill. Her dissertation research is on prescription opioid use, opioid overdose, and infectious outcomes. Her additional work focuses on HIV in pregnancy and HIV and mental health in observational cohorts. Prior to UNC, Bethany worked as an implementation consultant at Epic and received an MS in Global Health from Duke University. At NoviSci, Bethany is gaining more experience in cutting-edge epidemiologic methods and pharmacoepidemiologic studies.
In her free time, Bethany enjoys running, traveling, and lounging with her dog.
